Nonprofit professionals from 26 agencies that serve children with developmental disabilities came together for an exciting dialogue and exchange.

Attendees had the opportunity to participate in roundtable discussions during the meeting. For each topic participants shared information about their agency services, best practices, and challenges. Continue the Dialogue
Participants overwhelming requested that an on-line community be developed where professionals will be able to share resources, publicize training opportunities and learn from each other. We have created a discussion board that meets this need.

If you would like another forum added send us an email with the name of the forum and its purpose.
Stay informed. You can have an email sent to you whenever a new post is made within a forum or topic by subscribing to that post or topic (found one blue line at bottom of page). If you only want to receive notification when someone responds to your post put a check mark next to “notify me when a reply is posted” under Options at bottom of your message.
Attachments. This message board is the perfect way to share documents with your colleagues. To do that scroll down to the bottom of the page after you have typed in your message. Under the Upload Attachment tab you can add your document. Each post can have a limit of 3 attachments. If you want your attachment to be included in the body of your post click on “inline” once the upload is complete. If not, the link to your attachment will be found at the end of your message.
Hyperlinks. You can also include url’s in your post to direct colleagues to other resources or your own website. To do so hit the “url” button above the message box. Insert the web address as follows: [url]web address[/url].
